Abstract

The study: “The role of hygiene on school attendance among primary school-going children in Makindye division, set out to establish the role of hygiene on school attendance among primary school going children in Makindye division employed quantitative study design to establish hygiene facilities and their quality in primary schools in Makindye Division and determine whether they have effect on children’s school attendance. In particular, a case study research was used to identify the frequency of hand-washing by the pupils in the selected schools, to determine pupil school attendance of selected schools in Makindye, to establish the link between hygiene and school attendance in Makindye division and to document other determinants of school attendance and the study was successful the researcher found out that there was a strong Topic Design The methodology The general objective Specific objectives The significant findings of the study The conclusions The recommendations Areas for further research
